Hey penguins,

We appreciate your patience this month as we began our co-development of New Club Penguin's HTML5 client. While the slight delay may be irritating in the mean-time, this new client is essential to our continued support of the game we all know and love with it bringing much needed performance improvements and mobile device compatibility.

With that said, we've still brought the vibes for you. The Penguin & Furniture style catalogs are out now. Igloo Music is out already of course, as is the Humbug Holiday stage play! We've continued to increase our output of original item creation, you will notice a few of these in the clothing catalog, as well as in Rockhopper's Rare Items. If you don't see them on your penguin immediately, don't fret - this is still new to us so they will start appearing over the coming days. (Side Note on potential bugged items from the past, we have a list, we're checking it twice, and the backlog will be sorted out after the Holiday season.)

This is our fifth Holiday Party, FIFTH! Can you believe it? I can't. Twenty years of Club Penguin, 5 years of New Club Penguin AND our 1000th build of the game is out with this very party! (This count started when we setup our production pipeline - our 2022 Summer Party was #1!) Three special numbers, what a lovely coincidence. Have 1000 coins on us using code 1000BUILDS until Jan. 6th!

Merry Walrus is also thrilled to announce that he has finally got his own stamp! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for him around the island.

Team Grinch-Bert vs. Team Snow Sasquatch!

Players can join one of the teams and help contest 6 zones around the island. The more zones your team hold, the faster the bar swings in your direction. Whether its destroying the enemy teams fort at The Beach, or having a dance off in The Cove we hope you enjoy our first take on a community team game!

December 30th - Third Code!

A third code will be available in this section of the blog starting NOON UTC on the 30th of December.

As is tradition, there is a countdown available in the Skatepark. A code will also be available in this section of the blog post on that date with a VERY exciting new clothing item! 🎆

Coming on January 1st, is a new feature called Penguin Playback! Tourdude & Gary have been working on a way for you to view what you've been up too for the past year. How many coins you've spent, how many puffles you've adopted etc.. Log in on January 1st to see your Penguin Playback.

anddddd, thats it! Just on behalf of the team, thanks for a really fun year guys. While it wasn't our most popular, we delivered a record number of updates, new features, bug fixes and did some of our most unique events. So thanks for sticking around, it's a dream opportunity for all of us to get to work on a project like this, and to do it for so long! We'll be taking a break over the next few weeks for the holidays, so we hope you enjoy the party and look forward to seeing you in the very exciting year ahead.
